To practise law in Australia, overseas qualified candidates need to gain admission in the relevant state in which they wish to practise. This may mean taking additional subjects specific to the jursidiction.

Under the mutual recognition scheme, admission in one state generally facilitates ease of transferring to another state. Contact the relevant state authority for details.
